Developing the story…

After a nearly 25 minute interview of solid, interesting quotes and information, I’m left with a little more than five full pages of words. Now the question is, where do I go from here. What angle do I take? Which are the most interesting quotes to use? What information do I leave out?

When taking on a relatively large feature story, especially one with high interest, these are a few of the many questions reporters must ask themselves.

The current story at hand, or should I say, on-screen, is a feature about a man in his late twenties who has worked in a handful of different convenient stores in Baltimore. The catch is that this man, who is married with four children, has been robbed seven times – and doesn’t seem phased at all.

Stay tuned for the full story, as it should be available by the end of the week.

Below is the location where the Baltimore man currently works as a store manager.
